It is a persistent state. I think for almost everyone in the house. But I wanted to mark today because I don't think it will ever happen again so here it goes...
Addison slept until 10 am and was asleep at 7:45 tonight.
I think is has something to do with the crazy couple of weeks that we have had. Swim lessons, gymnastics, Ranger games, swim parties, slip and slide, and just life. I forget at times that she is only three. She acts so much older than her age. She is so easy going. I just love that girl.
Now I am going to get ready for bed. It is 8:30 and I am exhausted.

Where you dreams come too, maybe...
So we are leaving at the end of this week to go to Disney. It is hard to tell who is more excited, the girls or Chad and I. So this weekend, Mitzi is talking to the girls about Disney. She says, "Disney is the place where all of your dreams come true."
Reece "Really? Because my dream is to have a dog."
How much longer can we put this off? It has already been a year. Can we last one more?

Yes, I am finally updating...
I know, I know. I have heard you all screaming at me for months. We are still alive and kicking. You are getting this post from my new laptop. A gift from my loving husband for Mother's Day. It is the CUTEST lime green Dell. Hopefully, this will inspire me to write more blogs. It is on my never ending "to do" list. Now I can do it anywhere.
Now for what you are really wanting to know. UPDATES!
Addison is just the sweetest little girl. She is still in school at the Montessori that we started at in September. Her teachers just love her. She has to hug the director bye when we leave in the afternoon. She has got one killer farmer's tan kickin'. She has my nice pasty white skin. Her hair is incredible long and blonde. I know she is mine because of the sassy attitude. She looks up to her big sister more than her parents. She loves, loves, loves babies. Real and stuffed. She is really enjoying her little gym class. We hope to keep her in the program during the summer as well.
Reece is wrapping up the school year as a kindergartner. She has done exceptionally well in school. She is reading and loving it. Hopefully, we can keep it up this summer so she is still doing well when school starts back up in the fall. She loves exercise. That has to be a Maywald gene because I can't stand it. She can run forever. She did not want to play soccer this season and I think she is a little sad about that. Her dance recital is at the end of the month. I think I am more excited than she is. I can remember how excited and nervous I was all mine. I just know that she will love it.
Chad's favorite time of the year is here. He loves the spring and all that it brings. He enlarged by garden by 4 feet and so I can grow more veggies. The yard looks perfect. I don't know what his secret is but he has always had a green thumb.
After much discussion and thought, I have decided to go back to school. For longer than I know, I have entertained the idea of being a nurse. I have put off going back to school because the girls were so little and getting up in the middle of the night while studying never seemed like a good idea. But they aren't babies any more (and we aren't having any more) so now is the time. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since I graduated from SWT. And because of that, I get to retake some core classes. So I start this summer at Collin County with a class each summer session. We will see how it all goes. My goal is to be that student that I hated in college. You know the one. The older lady that aced off the test and screwed up the curve for the rest of the class. I'm going to be her.
And finally, we are planning a trip to Disney. We leaving the first part of June. The girls are more than excited. I can't wait to see how they react to all of the characters. But one thing at a time. Let's get through a couple birthdays and the end of school.
No pictures tonight. One thing at a time.

Updates- Top 20 style
- Addison has decided that she is done with pull-ups. She potty trained herself for the most part. She has not had an accident in over 2 weeks. She can put herself on the toilet, wipe, get off, and flush. With stool in place, she can wash her own hands. I love her determination!
- We have bought diapers every week for a little over 5 years. We are down to just a pull-up at night. Those are dry most of the time. I feel a pay raise coming.
- Reece is signed up to take dance starting in 2 weeks. I am so excited I can hardly control myself. Hitting up the dance store this weekend. Yeah!!!
- She is also doing soccer again this fall. We will see you on the weekends after Christmas.
- School starts in three weeks. One more pay raise.
- Addison had surgery to remove her adenoids and clear her sinuses. She did great. Mom- not so much. Mom still not doing great because Addison still has a lot of drainage. We have had one follow-up and will have another next week. We will see how she is on Tuesday and go from there.
- My WONDERFUL family and friends watched the girls this past weekend so that Chad and I could have a mini vaca in Hot Springs. Loved the trip. Love my family for keeping the girls. Love my girls.
- I think the girls may have pushed the "when we have kids" time frame back for some. They are a handful.
- Where has the summer gone?!?! I need some serious quality time at the pool. I have missed it greatly this summer.
- Reece is still seeing the eye specialist for her patch therapy. It is REALLY working. The eye has gone from 20/125 to 20/60. Huge difference in about 6 months. She will always have to wear glasses or contacts, but the lazy eye is working more consistently. Let me know if you ever need to learn about amblyopia.
- Chad is turning 33 on 9/9/09. Monica - can you hold out until that date to have Baby Girl Ramsey?
- My garden is growing cucumbers consistently. Lots of tomatoes for a while. It is too hot right now but they will start in a couple of weeks. I want to do it in the fall too. Any suggestions?
- Chad and I have decided that we are the worst camera people ever. I will try to post what few pictures we have taken this month. (notice I didn't say this week, hehe)
- Reece is starting KINDERGARTEN! Do you believe that? I don't. I know she went to school last year but I think this year is what will really make it real.
- Reece is such a little adult. The things that come out of her mouth make me laugh. She asked me this morning, in the car on the way to daycare and work, why I didn't fix my hair. I said I did. She said I needed a haircut. I agreed.
- Addison is talking in real words ALL DAY LONG. It is great to have these little conversation with her and to finally understand what she has to say. And she has a lot to say.
- Addison's nick name is Boss Lady. She rules this roost. She tells you how it is. She is also incredibly sweet. She gives that absolute tightest hugs and puckers up to give you a kiss.
- Everyone I know is pregnant, waiting for a baby, getting married, moving, having surgery, celebrating birthdays or milestones, getting new jobs, or getting new cars. Our days are never the same and always busy.
- I wouldn't change any of it.
- I could tell you other stuff but why would I. You will just have to wait for my next update. I less than 2 months. I promise.
